Frequently Asked Questions

What are your current safety and health protocols?

updated 01/11/22

Gainesville Theatre Alliance continues to monitor, as we are able, the Covid-19 status of our casts and crew. Vaccinations, masks, and frequent testing are strongly encouraged throughout our program. Masks are not required for audience members on the UNG campus as per University System of Georgia standards. Brenau University asks that audience members wear masks while on campus for the health and safety of the community. For more information, please visit Brenau’s updated COVID-19 FAQ or UNG’s Nighthawks Together FAQ. Although we are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of all involved, audience members choosing to enjoy our productions do so at their own risk.

Protocols for each GTA production is dependent on the venue. GTA will be adhering to the health & safety protocols of our parent universities for each production, while also taking the latest CDC guidelines into consideration. All ticket orders will include the current protocol information at the time of purchase.

In addition to university protocols, Gainesville Theatre Alliance is employing the following procedures for our 2021-22 productions:

    • Extra cleaning in the lobby and inside the theatre
    • Hand sanitizer and masks available in the lobby
    • Masked House staff

Can I bring my children to the show?

All WonderQuest performances are designed for very young children and we welcome families of all ages to attend.

We discourage children under 5 in the theatre for all other performances. Please respect other patrons by leaving the theatre if your child becomes distracting to others.
